There is something about guiding a ninefoot longboard through an extented arc that feels amazing. Throw some sidefins on a longboard, give it some hard edge through the tail for bite and a subtle amount of curve through the entire board and you have a completely different surfing experience.”Kiora” was the name of the board rode to win my second world title in New Zealand. The possibilities of a modern longboard for me are quiet vast. I have and never will have any prejudice to any form of surfcraft ever!! This three fin longboard will undoubtedly turn amazingly well in the pocket and cutback into the waves power source on a razors edge.
It is also a misconception that only the single fin log can noseride amazingly….well this infact is wrong. With the three fins and a sharp edge through the tail you will hold and trim through many a steep section while riding the nose!! ‘Kiora” means hello in Maori. If you have not experienced a light three fin longboard for all the many things it offers well “Kiora”, Hello this thing is awesome!!
